Holidays in Britain

I think Britain's holidays are very interesting. One holiday that really caught my attention was Bonfire day. On this day in November, Everyone gets together and stacks a large pile of wood for a bonfire. Then they create a doll and place it on top of the bonfire to be burned. The doll is made to resemble a terrorist named Guy Fawkes who tried to kill the king and politicians about 400 years ago in Britain. I thought this was very interesting and it seems like a lot of fun. I remember making giant bonfires at my high school and middle school during spirit week.
